The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) has announced that 15 additional organizations have joined the consortium last month.

The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) is a nation-wide alliance of traditional and nontraditional small businesses, large defense contractors, academic institutions, and other research organizations involved with the translational research and development of the complete range of prototype, ground vehicle and robotics systems and technologies.
The NAMC is a part of the Defense Mobility Enterprise: a single consortium of Government Laboratories and Agencies managed out of the Acquisition Management Office(AMO) at the Detroit Arsenal (formerly the Vehicle and Robotics Alliance (VRA PO))and its Industry/Academic component, the NAMC. The Enterprise operates under an Other Transaction Agreement in accordance with provisions of 10 USC 2371b, Section 815 of the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act P.L. 114-92 as amended.
NAMC’s mission is to provide the U.S. Government with ready, quality access to the broadest population of U.S. ground vehicle system (GVS), sub-system, and component technology developers and providers in a competitive environment; to work in partnership with the Government to implement and refine business processes and tools to streamline individual project contract administration; and to expedite the innovation, development, and production of new GVS capabilities for U.S. warfighters.
