Arnold Defense awarded contract for AIM-120 missile launcher parts

Arnold Defense and Electronics has been awarded a supply contract for 1,254 launcher 12X structural rail sections used on the AIM-120 missile launcher.

The firm-fixed-price contract, valued at around $15.5 million, was awarded by the U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) located in Robins Air Force Base, Georgia.

Fiscal 2018 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $72.5K are being obligated at the time of award. This contract involves foreign military sales (FMS) and was a competitive acquisition and three offers were received.

The work will be performed in Arnold, Missouri, with an expected completion date of Sept. 30, 2023.
