At Least 22 Turkish Soldiers Killed in Airstrike in Syria’s Idlib

At least 22 Turkish soldiers have been killed in an airstrike conducted by Syrian government forces in Syria’s northwestern Idlib region, a Turkish provincial governor has said on Friday.

Several more were badly hurt in the attack in Idlib in the north-west, according to Rahmi Dogan, a local governor in the southeastern Turkish province of Hatay.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a top-level security meeting after the strike.
