Elbit Systems Awarded U.S. Air Force Contract for Missile Warning Systems

Elbit Systems of America, the U.S.-based subsidiary of Israel’s Elbit Systems, has been awarded a U.S. Air Force firm-fixed-price contract for pylon-based infrared missile warning systems.

The contract, with a ceiling of approximately $471 million over a 10-year period, is to equip the F-16 Fighting Falcon combat aircraft of the U.S. Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), with pylon-based infrared (IR) missile warning systems (MWS).

The contract includes an initial order valued at approximately $17 million provided from National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account funds.

The contract work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas and is expected to be complete by February 2030.
