Elbit Systems of America Inc. has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract, with a ceiling of around $471.6 million, by U.S. Air Force for F-16 sustainment.
This contract provides for a pylon-based infrared (IR) missile warning system (MWS) for the F-16 fighter aircraft platform. The contract will support the U.S. Air National Guard (ANG) and the U.S. Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC).
National Guard and Reserve Equipment Account funds in the amount of $17.05 million are being obligated at the time of the award. The U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (FA8232-20-D-0003).
Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas, and is expected to be complete by February 2030. This award is the result of a competitive acquisition and one offer was received.
