General Dynamics awarded contract modification for DDG planning yard services
General Dynamics, Bath Iron Works (BIW) has been awarded a modification against a previously awarded contract to exercise an option for DDG planning yard services.
The cost-plus-award-fee contract modification, valued at around $44.3 million, was awarded by the Supervisor of Shipbuilding, Conversion, and Repair, U.S. Navy based in Bath, Maine.
This modification continues integrated planning yard services for Arleigh Burke-class and Oliver Hazard Perry-class ships.
The contract work will be performed in Bath, Maine, and is expected to be completed by June 2018.
