Indian Air Force Scrambles Su-30MKI Fighter Jets Following Suspected Pakistani Drone Intrusion

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has scrambled its Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jets to shoot down an unidentified flying object, suspected to be Pakistani drone, which intruded the border near Anupgarh in Rajasthan, on Monday morning.

According to local media reports, the IAF radars spotted the object, leading to the scrambling of jets from Bikaner Air Force Station and firing of air-to-air missile at the object at around 11:30 am.

Debris of the missile fell on Pakistan territory, the Economic Times reported citing a source. The report added that the targeted object was not a small drone and appeared to be of medium or heavy category.
