JFD Awarded Contract to Deliver Submarine Rescue Equipment to China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co.

JFD, part of James Fisher and Sons plc, announced it has been awarded a multi-million pound contract for the design and build of submarine rescue equipment, including advanced Deep Search and Rescue Vehicles (DSAR), as part of a comprehensive submarine rescue capability being provided to China Shipbuilding & Offshore International Co., Ltd (CSOC).

CSOC is the trade arm of China Shipbuilding Industry Company Limited (CSICL), a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (CSIC). CSIC is one of the two largest shipbuilding conglomerates in China.
