Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is being awarded a delivery order modification to provide additional software modifications required to establish a software baseline for the MH-60R aircraft in support of the government of Saudi Arabia.
The modification, worth around $7.4 million, was awarded by the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command located in Patuxent River, Maryland. Foreign military sales (FMS) funds for the amount are being obligated at time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
The contract work will be performed in Owego, New York (83 percent); Salt Lake City, Utah (9 percent); and Hampton, Virginia (8 percent), and is expected to be completed in June 2019.
