A Nigerian Air Force helicopter has crashed on landing in Enugu in southeastern part of the country during a routine flight on Nov. 14, the service announced.
There were no fatalities or injuries to any crewmember or persons on the ground, according to Air Commodore Ibikunle Daramola, the NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information.
Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, the Chief of NAF, has directed that a Board of Inquiry be constituted to determine the causes of the accident.
The type of helicopter that crashed is not currently known.
