A Royal Air Force (RAF) Chinook heavy-lift helicopter was forced to perform an emergency landing after hitting power lines, on July 28.
According to reports, the helicopter, which is based at RAF Odiham in Hampshire, landed in a field near the village of Llangynin, in Carmarthenshire, Wales, UK.
During the incident, which occurred during a training exercise, the helicopter sustained minor damage, and one member of the crew suffered minor injuries due to broken glass.
The photos released in the social media showed damages to the helicopter’s windscreen and nose cone.
