Russian Air Force’s aerobatic demonstration team, Russian Knights took delivery of four new Su-35S aircraft from the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Plant (KnAAZ).
The aircraft arrived at the Kubinka Air Base in Moscow, where the Russian Knights team is based, on Nov. 12.
KnAAZ was earlier contracted by the Russian Ministry of Defense of the Federation to deliver the highly maneuverable 4++-generation Su-35S fighter jets to the aerobatic team. KnAAZ, named after Yu.A. Gagarin, is a branch of the Sukhoi Company which is part of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC).

Until now, the team performed with eight Su-30SM aircraft with numbers “30”, “31”, “32”, “33”, “34”, “35”, “36” and “37”.
