The Russian Navy’s destroyer Admiral Panteleyev and large ship tanker Boris Butoma has arrived at the Changi Naval Base (CNB), Singapore on Dec. 21.
The Russian Pacific Fleet detachment warships have moored at the naval base, where a welcoming ceremony for the Russian seamen took place.
According to the plan of the visit, civilians will visit the Russian warships, joint sports tournaments of the Russia’s and Singapore’s navies, as well as bus tours round the historical sites of the city.
The ships are scheduled to depart the base after four days.

Admiral Panteleyev is an Udaloy-class destroyer (“large anti-submarine ship”) of the Russian Navy. She is a part of the Russian Pacific Ocean Fleet; she was deployed in 2009 as part of operations to combat piracy off the Somalian coast. Ship also participated at RIMPAC 2012.
Boris Butoma is a Boris Chilikin-class (Project 1559V Morskoy prostor, Sea space) of fleet replenishment oiler built in 1970s for for the Soviet Navy and currently in service with the Russian Navy. The vessel was commissioned on 30 October 1978.
