Second Turkish Aircraft Arrives at Joint Base Andrews with Medical Supplies
A Turkish Air Force C-130 Hercules military transport aircraft arrived at Joint Base Andrews, Md. on May 1 with medical supplies.
This is the second Turkish Air Force aircraft arriving at the base carrying medical supplies to support the U.S. government’s effort to combat COVID-19. The aircraft was carrying hazmat suits and other medical supplies.

Previously, another Turkish military transport aircraft, an Airbus A400M, landed at Joint Base Andrews on April 28, to provide other medical supplies to fight COVID-19. The aircraft was carrying surgical masks, overalls, disinfectant, goggles, N-95 masks and face shields.
