SpetsTechnoExport company, part of the Ukrainian State Concern Ukroboronprom, showcased the Ukrainian UAV technologies at the UMEX & SimTEX 2020 exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The participation of the Ukrainian delegation in this exhibition is a continuation of a series of partnership talks on deepening defense cooperation between Ukraine and UAE, said a statement from SpetsTechnoExport.
The Ukrainian expo featured reconnaissance UAVs Leleka-100 (developed by Deviro) and PD-1 (developed by Ukrspecsystems), high-precision loitering UAV RAM (developed by CDET). Leleka-100 and PD-1 reconnaissance UAVs are currently on service in Ukrainian Armed Forces and received positive feedbacks from Ukrainian officers.
Leleka-100 – is a hardware and software suit that consists of autonomous remote-controlled UAVs, designed for various tasks such as aerial reconnaissance, patrolling, area mapping with the possibility of on-line information transfer and obtaining of accurate geographical coordinates in real-time mode. It is a combat-proven solution, that has been officially on service in Ukrainian Armed Forces since 2016.
PD-1 – is a multipurpose modular fixed-wing UAV with a wide range of options and payloads to fit any mission and operational environment. PD-1 has proved its performance capabilities, anti-jamming features and overall effectiveness of the system while being operated in a harsh environment. It is a combat-proven solution, that has been officially on service in Ukrainian Armed Forces.
RAM – loitering munition is designed to execute precise effective strikes on enemy forces and to minimize collateral damage when used in the urban area. The drone is equipped with a gyro-stabilized Full HD camera with a 10x optical zoom for easy target identification. The main feature is active visual target tracking system, that allows to lock on the target using real-time video from the onboard video camera and follow the target until the impact. RAM UAV is powered by a quiet electric engine and has a low noise a signature, anti-jamming features an encrypted data link to maximize the security of the mission. Fully loaded combat UAV with 4 kg warhead can operate in a range of 30 km from the launch point and complete both surveillance and combat missions.-time video from the onboard video camera and follow the target until the impact.
