Two Chinese Y-8 ASW Aircraft Enter Taiwan’s Southwest ADIZ Again
Two Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Y-8 anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft entered Taiwan’s southwest air defense identification zone (ADIZ) on Wednesday, Sep. 23.
The intrusion led Taiwan’s Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) to scramble fighter jets, issue radio warnings and deploy air defense missile system to monitor the activities of the Chinese aircraft.
