Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. was awarded a $91 million contract by the U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) to provide engineering and other support services for all versions of the H-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
One bid was solicited with one bid received. Work locations and funding will be determined with each order, with an estimated completion date of June 27, 2024.
Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is a four-bladed, twin-engine, medium-lift utility helicopter manufactured by Sikorsky Aircraft. Named after the Native American war leader Black Hawk, the UH-60A entered service with the U.S. Army in 1979, to replace the Bell UH-1 Iroquois as the Army’s tactical transport helicopter.
