The U.S. Air Force’s 412th Test Wing based at Edwards Air Force Base has four confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) as of 4 p.m. on March 25, the wing said in a statement.
Out of the four patients, one is an active duty member and three are family members. According to the 412 TW statement, all four members reside off base.
“Edwards AFB and AF Plant 42 are and will continue to remain open, as they are currently at HPCON B and restricted to mission-essential personnel”, said the statement.
“Edwards AFB and AF Plant 42 will continue to perform their wartime mission each and every day delivering future readiness to the warfighter.”
